About Us
Earthscape Designs Inc.
Newnan, Georgia
Earthscape Designs has very humble beginnings started by Brent Robertson in 1997 as a single person operation doing just landscape maintenance. The work ethic was started much earlier by maintaining homes at the early age of 12 as well as working on a 30 acre farm at 13. Maintaining properties gave an early perspective that all yards are always evolving and growth creates different changes. In Brent’s early days of EDI, maintaining high end properties and seeing needed changes on properties inspired EDI to be able to help customers solve problems and incorporate new design elements into their property.
The business began with a focus on landscapes, gradually expanding to include concrete work, landscape pavers, and other hardscape elements, alongside traditional plants and trees. As the business grew in Coweta and Fayette, so did Brent’s family. Brent married Mona Robertson in 1999, and she became a wonderful partner both in life and in business.
To better control the products used and to offer unique supplies to the community, they opened Mulch and More Landscape Supplies in 2005. This store, managed by Mona, provides a variety of stones, mulches, yard art, bird baths, and fountains, supplying Coweta, Fayette, Heard, and Douglas counties with materials that go beyond what typical stores offer.
Brent and Mona have two children, Emma Jo Faust and Elliott Robertson. Emma Jo graduated from Auburn University and now lives in Mobile, Alabama, with her husband, Ethan. Elliott recently graduated from high school and works at Publix, planning to attend welding school. Both children have contributed to the business, working at the retail store. The family's culture emphasizes a service heart and treating each job and person with respect, regardless of their background. EDI strives to embody these values in its business practices. Even if it's not Brent or Mona, the EDI Team is always available to assist clients.
In its 20 years of business, EDI has developed strong professional relationships with many who share its values. If a client needs something for their outdoor space, and EDI can't help, they likely know someone who can. They look forward to being of service to the local community in any capacity needed.
